My Story

 

I’m Toni Hakala, an athlete in Corinthians SC and a professional coach specializing in sport performance, martial arts, strength and conditioning, and overall life coaching and mentoring. My journey into sports began at a young age, and throughout my life, fitness has been my passion and driving force. In the 1990s, I focused on strength training and martial arts, disciplines that not only shaped my physical capabilities but also profoundly influenced my mindset and life philosophy.

While I don’t hold formal academic degrees, my education has come through real-world experience, perseverance, and the lessons learned from years of hands-on practice and training with some of the best in the field. I believe that physical training isn’t just about building strength; it’s about transforming the mind, cultivating resilience, and pushing past self-imposed limits.

Throughout my life, I have faced significant challenges, including an 18-year prison sentence in Brazil. Instead of letting this experience define me negatively, I turned it into a powerful opportunity for growth. I used my time to learn, reflect, and strengthen both my body and mind. It was during this period that I realized the true potential of overcoming adversity, and I emerged with a deeper understanding of how life’s struggles can be transformed into strength.

Now, I’m focused on helping others do the same. Through my coaching services, I offer personalized sport performance coaching, life coaching, and mentoring. I work with individuals from all walks of life, helping them break through physical and mental barriers, achieve peak performance, and turn challenges into opportunities for personal growth. My unique coaching approach combines the principles I’ve learned through overcoming my own struggles with proven techniques in strength and performance training, allowing my clients to grow not just physically, but emotionally and mentally as well.

I am currently writing my first book, where I will be sharing the lessons and stories from my life, and you’ll hear more about it soon. In 2025, I will finally be free after nearly two decades, and I’m committed to continuing my mission of helping others achieve their potential and transform their lives.
