impactful change
For nearly eight years after the prison, Brazil was home and giving back to the community there was a natural part of everything I did. Working with athletes striving for a better life, helping those in need, and believing that even one person who finds something in your story makes the work worthwhile.
In the autumn of 2025 things changed and I returned to Finland. Today I work here, speaking, mentoring, coaching and having real conversations with individuals.
The mission stays the same. If one person gets something from my story that is enough. I always try to build helping into whatever I do. Not as charity but as a natural part of being human. We are all connected and when we lift each other up something stronger is built.
CASE ATHLETE PROJECT
Fightcenter Garopaba, MMA Project in Brazil
30 young athletes. One gym. One shared goal.
In Garopaba, Brazil, I launched a project where young MMA athletes train and live togethe, sharing space, food and responsibility.
My role as a coach went beyond the gym. I helped manage meals and rent payments and was fully present in their daily lives. The goal was not just athletic development, but mental, emotional and physical growth. That feeling of what it means to take responsibility for your own life.
In Brazil, young athletes have limited opportunities. Especially those without a support network. Crime is a real alternative when no other options are visible.
This project offered something different, structure, community and the feeling that someone cares.
That experience stays with me today. I want to share it, through coaching, public speaking and in communities where it is needed most. Especially with those who feel they have fallen and are looking for a way back.
