They say prison is the worst for those who’ve never been there — they lied

Most of us are interested about what goes on in prisons. A place where one’s living space and acts are reduced to minimum is a way that the society has found to be a way to punish the ones break the moral codes which are called laws.
Although the government can break them all when at will, you who are citizens ( I’m still waiting to be one) think many times that if we take a way time from a person’s life they get to know what is to lose something precious. You are not wrong. But what many times happens is that the institutions where human beings are piled on top of each other, especially here in Brazil, many times have to do things worse when inside compared to the crimes they did that brought them in in the first place.
Prison is not a merit to nobody, but if one takes it very seriously and is willing to make a change, which has to come deep from one’s heart, there is a way to use it as an advantage. To pay one’s sentence is nothing heroic, it is an obligation. But the way the system is, one has to be a hero for oneself to get out from there in one piece.
Heroes are loved and cherished by all. Not only because people love them for what they have done. But they love them to see them fail. To die trying. Not still becoming a martyr but just failing when they try to succeed in their tasks. From the safety of their seats they try to live the emotions through others that they most fear. What they most love is to see heroes fail, to fall to be unknown again. This is why many times people rejoice and wonder about things that go on in prisons. Especially the ones where all the real bad guys are. The maximum security penitentiaries. In world where security is just another illusion, freedom is risky where security is a prison. Maximum security is the maximum of prisons that many desire. Being a prisoner of mind with a non rebellious mind is to be a slave by choice. Challenge yourself and live free. It can be hard, but nothing in life really comes free.
